Lancashire United Eclipse 2

Transdev lancashire Lancashire United is a bus operator which is owned by the Transdev group serving Blackburn, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley. It started as part of the Stagecoach group until 2001 when it was sold to an independent operator called Blazefield Travel who split the business between 2 distinct names; these being Burnley & Pendle and Lancashire United. In January 2006, the Blazefield Travel Group was sold to the Transdev Group who have operated the business ever since. As with all of Transdevs operations it’s a very high-class subsidiary with modern vehicles such as Volvo B7TL / Wright Gemini’s, Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse 2’s and refurbished Volvo B10BLE / Wright Renown’s. They do own a small amount of older Volvo Olympians but these are only used for scholar work; as per other Transdev subsidiaries. One of their new B7RLE’s is shown below wearing the standard Yellow and Blue livery, this is 1875 BD12 TEO.
