GNE Waggonway

The Waggonway brand was introduced in 2010 for long services 28 and 28A. A historic brand was created and it also serves Beamish Museum Main Entrance with joint and discounted tickets available. 5 DAF SB220 / Plaxton Prestiges were refurbished and painted in the new “Waggonway” brand. 9. The buses used on this service I have always found have noisy engines and dull interiors and exteriors. Going from Chester through all the villages like Pelton and Grange Villa make up for this though.

  10. To Marcus,

Plaxton are very good at building bodies for buses as they are pretty robust, but they are not so good when combined with a cheap DAF chassis.
