Deerness Motor Services News Update 15/10/10

Deerness Motor Services has now changed services X43/43. The X43 has been withdrawn and so service 43 has been increased from every 20 minutes to every 15 miutes and becoming a full easy access route. With 01 NK10 CHS,02 NK10 CHT and 03 NK10 CHU Wright Gemini’s in 43 livery and 300 NK05 GWZ also in the 43 livery. This leaves the 3 Leyland Olympians / East Lancs 969 F369 AFR, 970 F370 AFR and 971 F371 AFR are now in the reserve livery. This leaves only 989 M689 HPF  and 990 M690 HPF the only Olympians in normal service and the only non-easy access vehicles in service. Currently in refurbishment are ex Arriva Durham County R423 RPY, R424 RPY, R425 RPY and R426 RPY. 2 of these are to be put in 48/48a livery replacing the Olympians and 2 for reserve work. They are to be numbered 08, 09, 10 and 11.
